| Mao Bamboo is as hard as hard Maple and 50 % more stable and harder than Red Oak making it stronger than most hardwoods. Bamboo flooring are more resilient and take a greater impact than most hardwoods without denting.
Bamboo flooring is available in 2 shades, natural or in darker shade produced by carbonization. Bamboo is naturally golden blonde in color, carbonization makes a honey-brown color.
Appearance of the finished product is further enhanced by the various plank constructions. Bamboo flooring has two basic constructions: horizontal pressed and vertical pressed. The horizontal pressed boards are laminated horizontally with five strips which give the appearance of flattened bamboo canes. The prepared strips of bamboo are turned on edge and carefully arranged before being pressed together in a single layer.This structure is named vertical pressed and gives a more attractive effect. |
