Strand woven bamboo flooring has a very distinctive type of grain.  To many people, it resembles traditional hardwood such as oak and sandalwood. It different from normal bamboo floor. Strand woven bamboo is about as hard as iron wood(2890 PSI) or Brazilian cherry (2820 PSI) but strand woven bamboo is much easier to work with and more affordable.
